Gutter cleaning is very important but often over looked, if gutters are left clogged from leaves, moss etc. This could lead to significant damage to the property which could go as far as causing internal leaks!
Commercial buildings usually require multiple access solutions varying from cherry pickers, scissor lifts, scaffold towers and HR 21. These would be used in scenarios where there is an obstruction in font of the gutters, high level or hard to reach areas.
Another method would be to use a Gutter Vacuum system.
At MK Shine we use the SkyVac system made up of telescopic poles to reach gutters, even in the awkward positions such as above conservatives. The debris found in your gutters are then vacuumed up by our specifically designed motor, wether this is wet or dry. This method allows us to work at the safety of ground level. Ensuring that we work within the health and safety guidelines is paramount, which is why we value this piece of equipment so much!
Simply by getting your gutters cleaned regularly could save you the cost of new fascias, cladding, gutters etc. Over time rainwater can spill over the sides of gutters and leave nasty dark stains on the external walls of your property.
Pressure Washing
Surfaces overtime can be affected by the elements, leading to organic growth such as; algae and lichen. Once these organisms are present on surfaces like pathways, driveways and car parks, they can become extremely slippery and a potential health and safety risk. We can also clean; walls, cladding, sun visors etc.
Jet washing a surface involves the use of our commercial pressure washer, water is ejected at high pressure to lift stains and growths of an area to achieve a gleaming finish. Some surfaces such as; render, stonework and limestone can be soft washed. This method is slightly different, chemicals are applied to react with dirt and grim. After some time to dwell, the chemical is washed away at low pressure to protect the area from any damaged caused by high pressure.
